The Tabernacle Experience™

Exquisite

Museum-Quality Sacred Furnishings

Crafted to Inspire. Built to Teach.

Not all tabernacle furnishings are created equal or with the same purpose.

Many life-size tabernacle displays use simplified furnishings designed primarily to illustrate the layout of the sanctuary. While these replicas effectively communicate the overall arrangement of the Tabernacle, the furnishings themselves are often constructed with economy and durability in mind, often sacrificing the craftsmanship, artistry, and biblical detail described in the Book of Exodus.

Our Sacred Furnishings Collection was created with a different vision.

Designed and handcrafted exclusively by David Hamilton, founder of Mishkan Ministries and one of America's foremost craftsmen of biblical Tabernacle furnishings, every piece in this collection reflects years of biblical study, artistic excellence, and meticulous craftsmanship. Rather than serving as simple display props, these museum-quality reproductions are powerful teaching tools that help visitors experience the beauty, dignity, and profound spiritual significance of God's dwelling place among His people.

A Higher Standard of Craftsmanship

Our collection is distinguished by exceptional attention to biblical detail, historical accuracy, proportion, finish, and presentation. Every furnishing has been handcrafted to reflect the excellence described in Scripture and to honor the sacred purpose for which these objects were originally created.

The collection includes:

  • The Ark of the Covenant

  • The Mercy Seat with Cherubim

  • The Golden Lampstand (Menorah)

  • The Table of the Bread of the Presence

  • The Golden Altar of Incense

  • The Bronze Altar (not available at this time)

  • The Bronze Laver

  • High Priest and Priest Garments

  • Additional sacred furnishings and teaching artifacts

Every element has been created not only to illustrate the biblical text but also to convey the extraordinary craftsmanship that characterized the Tabernacle described in Exodus.

The difference is immediately apparent. Visitors quickly recognize the distinction between standard reproductions and furnishings created with the artistry, precision, and reverence worthy of the biblical account.

Designed for Meaningful Exhibits

Visitors are naturally drawn to objects that appear authentic, thoughtfully crafted, and worthy of careful examination. Museum-quality reproductions invite people to slow down, ask questions, and engage more deeply with the biblical narrative.

The Sacred Furnishings Collection invites visitors to encounter the holy vessels that stood at the heart of the biblical Tabernacle. Fashioned according to God's revealed design, these sacred furnishings served as the focal point of worship, sacrifice, intercession, and the divine presence among His people. Our exhibit is intentionally dedicated to these remarkable objects and their profound biblical significance rather than to a reconstruction of the Tabernacle tent, coverings, or supporting structure.

Whether displayed in a museum, church, Bible college, conference, leadership retreat, biblical wedding feast, private event, community or traveling exhibition, these sacred furnishings elevate the entire experience by combining visual excellence with meaningful biblical teaching.

An Experience Worth Remembering

The Tabernacle was never intended to be ordinary. Scripture tells us that God appointed gifted artisans to create furnishings of remarkable beauty, craftsmanship, and precision for His dwelling place.

This collection seeks to honor that legacy.

Each furnishing reflects the reverence, symbolism, and artistry of the biblical Tabernacle, allowing visitors to appreciate not only its design but also its theological significance. Guests leave with a deeper understanding of God's presence among His people and the redemptive story woven throughout the Tabernacle.

Provenance

A Collection with a Documented History

Every significant museum collection has a story. This collection's story begins with its creator.

Our Sacred Furnishings Collection was designed and handcrafted exclusively by David Hamilton, founder of Mishkan Ministries, whose work has become recognized for its exceptional craftsmanship, biblical fidelity, and educational value.

Unlike collections assembled from multiple manufacturers or acquired over time, every major furnishing in this exhibit was created by the same master craftsman. This gives the collection a remarkable consistency in design, construction, artistic style, and biblical interpretation.

David Hamilton personally delivered this collection, and we are privileged to preserve photographs documenting its delivery and installation. These historic images establish a direct connection between the craftsman and the exhibit and provide important provenance for the collection.

This documented history enhances the educational, historical, and interpretive value of the exhibit while preserving the legacy of the artisan who devoted years to faithfully recreating the sacred furnishings described in Scripture.

When guests experience this exhibit, they are viewing an authentic David Hamilton Sacred Furnishings Collection with documented provenance—not a collection of commercially manufactured replicas.
